introduction
Dr. Jae-Do Park, who joined the EE faculty in Fall 2009, brought his 12 years of industry experience on electric machine drive systems to UCD EE as well as his latest research on flywheel energy storage systems. He is offering new courses on electric machine and drives. Also he is working on building a state-of-the-art power laboratory in EE to offer students a hands-on experience on latest power, machine and drive technology. His research area includes energy conversion systems for renewable energy applications, power quality control and distributed generation systems.
